1) Vertical Mills
In the original Sand Mill the screen holding back the sand media at the top of the mill was an open type. While closed type Sand & Bead Mills have a submerged type of screen or seperator. The can be provided with conventional or mechanical tightly sealed to permit operation under pressure and also to accept high viscosity products.
2) Horizontal Mills
In this design, grinding chamber in horizontal one instead of vertical / upright position.
In the event of the unit being stopped, the horizontal position enables it to be restarted without difficulty; regardless of product being processed its viscosity or type and size of grinding media being used. Thus the use of steel balls/ other high-density media, which may be contraindicated in a vertical mill, because of ball settlement to the bottom, is no problem with horizontal design. The ball media remain uniformly distributed along with length of horizontal Mill at all times, while in new closed type design, maximum utilization is mode of grinding chamber ( more than 80 to 85% of the grinding chamber is filled with grinding media) and by creating more than one pass in a single grinding chamber by means innovative designs of agitator. So horizontal mills are compact and utilized for finer grinding using miniature high density Beads and special screens for media separation.
3) Basket Mill
Basket Mill is batch operation.
Basket Mill are suitable for dispersing of low and medium viscosity products of the Paint, Ink, Coating, Cosmetic and allied process industry.
Principle of working is almost similar to the principle of working of high-speed dispersion. Basket Mill is comprising of grinding chamber made of cylindrical shell (jacketed or non-jacketed) with perforated / screened bottom end and open or screened / perforated top cover. The product is circulated by pumping / dispersing impeller Positioned on mill shaft under grinding chamber or above grinding chamber, sucks the product through the grinding zone filled with small Grinding media. The grinding media is accelerated by wear resistant grinding discs in grinding chamber.
Basket Mill is submersible milling machine allows to charge materials and process there all in one tank and one simple operation. The Basket Mill allows a greater amount of material to flow through the grinding chamber more offend resulting in narrower particle size distribution and stronger pigment strength in a shorter time.
4) Vibration Mill
Operating principle: Capital under the state of high frequency vibration of shocker or (vibration motor ) with high speed, grinding medias (rods, sticks & balls) in grinding cavity launch strongly, rotate quickly and revolve with low speed, making feed materials impacted, rubbed and sheared strongly, as a result of superfine particles distributed evenly.

7) Steel Ball Mills - (Batch Type)

Mill can be provided with variety of drive mechanisms for either wet or dry grinding are amid center turned for alignment and offer machined mounting pads for precision gear mounting. 8) Countineous Ball Mill (Steel Lined / Brick / Stone Lined)
Ball Mill is an efficient machine for grinding many materials in to fine powder Ball Mill or Tube Mills are barrel shaped having more length of shell than Diameter, rotating at specific speed for optimum milling effect. These operate by introducing the material to be milled in to rotating drum / barrel which contains a grinding medium. They are provided with different linings materials inside Mill Shell as per the process requirements. Continuous Mill are fed at one end of the Mill and discharged at the other Mill end.
